If any one is around the Indianapolis area next weekend I would strongly urge you to check out the Bean - I've been driving down from Ontario since 2007 and other than SPAH I don't think you will find more jams, commraderie, harpin' and other general foolishness anywhere - Grant has taken over management of this fest and has one heck of a lineup... http://beanblossomblues.com/ - It is in Bean Blossom, Indiana - I don't know how to make a "clickable" link so you'll have to copy and paste, sorry ----------

Not NEXT weekend, the 27th-29th. And many of us get there a couple of days early for the fun! Still time to score some tickets and get a camping spot.

If you make it to the Bean, stop by Cabin 12, say hi, and jam a little with us.

I'll be there early. Me and the old indian woman will hit the trail probably Friday or Saturday. We'll be there Sunday or Monday. Hey Jaw, I know a good place for biscuits and gravy not far from the bean. ---------- Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives alone.

I'll be there the 27th, morning. I bought my tickets weeks ago, and this is my first time. Do I need to prepay for my camping site? Do they fill up fast? Also, do they have harmonica sales/vendors? I assume so. But just want to be sure. I only really have access to Special 20's in my neck of the woods. Thanks for any help

Rick- There will probably be a harp vendor there. I think he is a Seydel dealer.
YOU SHOULD MAKE CAMPING RESERVATIONS NOW!!!
Cabin 12 is the unofficial center of the Bean universe. Stop in and introduce yourself. Camping nearby isn't a bad idea.
There is a taxi service there. it is just a golf cart. Bea loves driving folks around. Flag her down and she will introduce you to most of us.
Any other questions? Head over to the Bushman Music Forums and ask away. http://www.deltafrost.com/forums.html

Hey guys, one more question. In the camping sites(actual tent camping) can you drive and park right next to the camping spot, or is it off site parking?

Hey Rick - depending on what you want to do - primitive or designated site - you can park right there - heck sleep in your car if ya wanna!! When you get situated, wander around a bit and if you see more than 3 harp players congregated, just walk up and say "I'm Rick, are you guys forumites?" And for sure get over to Cabin 12 or Skinker Ridge.

Just an update... Little Rick arrived, I got to visit a little, we couldn't get him jammin' tho !!! But I did chuckle a little when I mentioned to him "When you arrived here, did you think that Jason Ricci would set up a tent right next to you??" I think this may have been, talent wise, one of the best Beans yet. ----------
