It's a cheap mic from EV and I was wondered about how great it works with overdriven harmonica. Reminds sm57 but less muddy middle freqencies. Yesterday I bought one in NY guitar center for $43 incl. taxes. I'll try it next gig.

I tried one at a friends request. I like it. Very feedback resistant! I ended up buying the CO5 which has very similar specs. Probably the same element. You might try some black electrical tape on the lower half of the ball to seal it up. Just a thought.
