Can anyone provide links to suppliers of high-impedance, dynamic elements for a homemade harp mic project?
I'm looking for low cost, obviously : P
Links to specific products (rather than just listing 'Mouser' or 'Radioshack' would be really helpful.
Cheers,
Ed

Buy the cheapest dynamic element you cand find, and then an impedance transformer. I sue one like that and the sound is good, not like my MC101, or a good CM, but for $1... ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.

Calrad dynamics pop up a lot on EBay, NOS ones, and cheap. They sound very good for harp. They are already HiZ and easier to put in a bullet shell because of their design.
Bottle of Blues builds a great low cost mic and may be able to sell you an element? There similar in design to the Calrads.
