I am building a diy harp mike. I have a 4 ohm 3 watt speaker that will be going thru a 100k linear pot and then out a 1/4 inch output jack. The amp is a rage 158 amp. My question is do I need a impedance matching transformer inline?
Speakers work - in theory. In practice their diaphragms are considerably heavier than microphones and therefore their high frequency response won't be very good. ---------- *************************************************** /Greg
