Hi

I started to learn Django's classic tune Minor Swing a while back

And I'm still working on it (the solo isn't finished yet)
Plus I still need to work on some of the phrasing, specially the chromatic run almost at the end, as my overblow playing sucks lol

Before continuing with the "transcription" I would like to hear some feedback from better harp players out there

PD: This song has been an incredible study piece to incorporate 4th position on my playing and its a gold mine on ideas :b

Dude,
That is great playing.
Congrats..

Such a tough song.
I think it is lost on many players the difficulty in nailing this tune.
You are pretty close.

This is very entertaining..
Sandy Weltman is an outstanding diatonic player that also Django expert.

Good stuff and hope to hear more from you

That is some sweet playing , Danny. You've just about nailed those tricky intervals, which, judging from this, you'll nail in no time. Best of all, you swing with the changes. You give the feel of that bounce and pop! that makes this music alive and invigorating. Here's one of my floundering attempts at the tune:

Thanks for the comments!
I hope I can finish the transcription soon hehe

Wow Ted Incredible Speed runs you got there, great tone.
What position were you playing on?
Sounds interesting as it is a different approach to this song than the one I've been studying so its kinda refreshing haha
