Here's one of my all time favorite recorded moments of James Cotton from about 1965, which produced two LP's, one was the first Johnny Young's Chicago Blues Band that was released on the Arhoolie label, and this little gem that was released on Otis Spann's Chicago Blues on the Testament label. Listen to how he combines both the use of his hands and still shape his sound with his mouth at the same time, all while played amplified, something many harp players often never learn or think about doing at all.
