Rare video of Sunny Girl...looks to be about 17 (5 years ago).

Harmonica solo is quite nice as well.

Stage presence and "owns" the song...

unfortunately, video may hang up about 3/4 way through...

more vocal chops...

the seeds were sown when she was very young...

OMG...just found ultra rare video of Sunny Girl band recording her CD....The Iceman on keys...band had all star line up at the time. Drummer now plays with Betty LaVette.

Notice how she directs the band....a true professional

Robyn told me she has braces now, and can't play harp until they're off.

Philosofy - you must live in Detroit. Do you go to that Thur jam session w/James Cloyd and Robyn?

Yes, she is waiting for braces to come off before playing again. However, she is feeling the pull back to music and is planning a trip to come visit me in GA this fall.

Colleen is still going to voice lessons - just not performing publicly.

Bit off topic, but, @the iceman, just clicked on your name by accident and read on your profile that you are in Darien.
I'm from the UK but was in Darien in June with my wife. Beautiful part of the world, really enjoyed exploring the whole area. Maybe next time we could meet up and you could give me a lesson! Anyway... Back to the topic..... Great clips, really very nice.

Iceman, I live in Indiana, but travel to Detroit for business, and outside of Mugs, I'm the most regular harp player at the Crystal. James is being a good mentor to me, and pushing me in the right directions. Rockin' Robyin is coming into her own: the passion and talent shine through, and the confidence is growing.
PS: I keep bugging Robyn to bring her sister some night. I'd love to have her critique me.

Colleen will no doubt not be into critiquing. It's not her thing.

Tell James that The Iceman wants to gets funked up!

Who is Mugs?
