This is an original song recorded by Rivers Crossing, which is the bad I am now a member of. It was recorded before I joined so there is no harp music. Just use your imagination - or better yet - play along.

It is a patriotic American song so apologies to our international brethren who may not share the sentiment.

Nice to hear tunes like that, especially around the 4th. It's a catchy piece to boot.

As a proud American and a retired federal officer -even I find the sentiments naive.

Its not " his " land.

How about the people who lived here before we got here from Europe or wherever ?

The document reads "WE hold these truths to be self evident"

Anyway good luck with the band- Just my 2cents-and my wariness of exclusionary patriotism .

chopsy - interestingly enough, I've been playing with these guys for about 8 months and I did not know that Lex (banjo player in the video) even has a banjo. We rehearse in his "Man Cave" over his garage. It's a nice setup with a sound system and our drummer, Tod, keeps his gear set up there. Along one of the walls Lex has about 20 guitars hung like a display rack at Sam Ash - and I have never seen a banjo there. Usually Lex is our lead guitarist and Larry (lead singer) plays a 12 string acoustic guitar. I didn't even know about this video or the fact that we have a Facebook page until the other day.

Don't apologize to people who don't share your patriotism. There's nothing to apologize for.

I really enjoyed that. Thanks for posting. That sounds like a really cool band to be part of.

Thanks MichaelMc. They are good musicians. I am honored to be a part of the band. They are giving me an opportunity to play a lot more, particularly in public and it is forcing me to become a better musician. The fact that I even have an opportunity to be a part of this band is a testament to all the great information I have picked up from countless members of this forum. It is like a Harmonica University. Thanks everyone.
