I needed a G harp for a bit of home recording. I went to the local music store expecting to pick u a Sp20 but they had none. So I went for a LO, a brand I have always avoided. Got it home and was amazed how great it played OOTB. I took ½ an hour to put it into Paddy Richter but everything else stayed as bought. I can even OB 10 which I have never been able to do before! After an hour's playing my hand was killing me, so another 10 mins to round the corners off and I'm completely satisfied.
That's the trouble with harps, you can't try 'em before you buy 'em.
Does anyone have any comments about the anniversary model?

I have been playing and promoting Lee Oskars for so long, I kinda thought they were just going to mail me one of the anniversary models(?).

@Gerry. You may want to try the new Fender/Lee Oskar signature special edition. I bought one and I'm very satisfied with it. It's like a regular Lee Oskar with one important difference, the covers have a smooth black satin finish that is very comfortable to play. I never liked the deep engraving for the hole numbers on the regular LO. The signature model doesn't have any numbers on it at all. Anyway, it plays great out-of-the-box, almost like a custom harmonica. By the way, what is Paddy Richter tuning? I've heard that term before but I don't know what it is. I know what Richter tuning is, of course, but not Paddy Richter. Edit: Never mind. I googled the question and I think I know what it is now.

"Well, I'm blowing the 10 and getting 2 different notes G + F (G Harp). Whatever that is called..." F is a blow bend. The hard part is to bend part way down to the F# which is the leading tone of the G major scale. If you can get that and the appropriate draw bends on hole 2 and 3, you can play the major scale in three octaves.

I've been practicing the Maj scale in 1-4. As I'm in Paddy Richter it is "relatively" easy

Once you get the G major scale down try E minor. You should find that "relatively" easy also. (pun intended:-)
