William Clarke is one of the coolest cats with harmonica ever and Carey Bell is great stylist also! thank you for sharing.
P.S. there are more clips of William Clarke on this channel and a ton of other cool blues videos!

That WC video was the Everest of WC videos for me. He was "verving" like hell!

Agreed, bigd. Jesus. I think that the world needs to close its eyes and listen to what he's playing, and singing. (It's his original tune.) That man is on fire.

I think somebody should visit Corey Harris's blog and post a link to that video.

I'm just saying.

I'm all for it, no question, but Kudzurunner, Lollipop Mama is not a WC original. Done by Wynonie Harris, but I'm not sure right now if even that was the original.
But great video of William Clarke
Edit: written by Roy Brown and released by him and also by Harris in 1947

Yeah, I was thinking about "Must Be Jelly," his original which won the Handy Award. Amazing performance, in any case.

The original version of this tune was done by the great jump blues singer Roy Brown and here it is:

I been listening to a lot of Clark lately and been thinking that I don't understand why there are so few players that play that style.

It's so great!
