Just thought of taking a look on Ebay for a feedblocker. ..don't make em anymore...boo hoo. What I did find was this. Juice Box 25 tube amplifier attenuator by TubularMods - 8? Item# 141634744600

The description made it irresistible..so I got one. Mainly because I play a small venue and need to "soak my tubes" without blowing away the front row...any feedback would be nice...I think I made a sound investment....? Thanks, Mojo das okay...I'll know soon enough this Wednesday...

Mojo- I don't know if they are a good investment or not, but I would love to hear how you like it once you get it and give it a try. I've thought of getting one several times, but haven't yet.

Haven't used one myself, but a good friend, Brian Lee of Brian Lee and the Orbiters (best blues band in the Northwest - shameless plug) uses a vintage attenuator with his Victoria Bassman clone in such settings. He swears by it. I know the one he uses is a vintage model, but I don't know the name.

I used the weber one with a 4x10 bassman for a while, it it works well, just ends up being too much trouble, ended up getting a smaller amp that could overdrive at lower volumes... and kept the 4x10 around to allow for larger stages/ outdoor concerts

as far as I know, the cheap attenatuators suck tone at lower volumes. but that tone suck is mostly high end, and for a guitar player that is a nightmare, but for harp is not so bad. ---------- Sorry for any misspell, english is not my first language.

thanks for the responses...I think there were some decent ones made, in the not so recent history. The Feedblocker was one. I have a friend who still has one. His worked pretty good. I'll give a hollar when I'm done testing it out tomorrow night. The description is everything a blues harp player wants to hear...I was helpless! FYI the 4X10 I have rigged to the Fanon Masco is partly the reason. I would need to get the 50 watt one for my Bassman. Which, if I'm happy, I will gladly plunk down the green for another one.
