I guess this question is for the tube heads out there, is it possible to create an amp with two preamps? Like one set up for harp and one set up for guitar? Is thee even enough room in an average combo amp?

Most amps have more than one preamp and input, so the answer is yes. I have all of my amps set up for harp and guitar. I have amps with three or for inputs, all set up differently.

For example my Masco Audiosphere 36 phono input is set up for high gain guitar, channel 1 is lower gain guitar and channel 2 bypasses one gain stage and is set up for harp. When I'm plugged in to channel 1 or 2, the phono knob acts as a gain control for those two channels.

Anything is possible depending on how much effort you want to put in.
