I live in a small town just south go Coffs Harbour NSW Australia and I'm doing a free workshop on mics, amps and pedals. All those coming are bringing their own gear and I will have my 4 valve amps, 5 mics and a couple of pedals. So with all other gear there will be thousands of combinations all at the one place.
So anyone living nearby or willing to travel is welcome to come along. Of course it is limited as it's at my house, but this could be a great opportunity to try out lots of gear at the one place, at the one time.
Maybe to make it more worth your while, my band 'The Moonshine Run' is playing in Coffs Harbour the night before.
I'm also looking at selling some of my gear, but don't care if I don't as I'm still pretty attached to all of it.
Obviously this is aimed at those living in Oz, but if you want to fly over, you certainly will be made most welcome.

I got close to Coffs once. Played at the diggers tavern in Bellingen...it's a bit of a hike from Hobart though.

Superbee, I've played Bellingen Tavern a number of times as I used to live in Bellingen for 18 years. Now in Urunga which is on the coast.

We (The Muddy Turds) played there with The Australian Beefweek Show in October 2013. Funny night. Our front woman picked me out a floral frock at an op shop the day before, which I wore forthe show that night. There was a more serious transvestite in the audience, (I was just a bloke wearing a frock. He had a nice frock and hair and nails and jewellery and make up and boobs...) whom I met while having a smoke during our break. I dunno if he thought I was taking the piss.. I guess I was; that was pretty much the theme of the act.
The boys in the band (who had been there before) were keen to go to Bellingen because they believe it has the highest proportion of attractive single mums in Australia. There did seem to be rather a lot of young women with prams.

Ha ha. One of the local jokes was something to do with fathers day in Bellingen.
Anyway, no excuses. Get your arse ( not ass ) up here and boogie.
