I love to listen to my favorite musicians credited as special guest. Most of such recording are not really interesting, but sometimes it can be even cooler appearance that their own stuff. recently I found John Popper's solo in Rebelution's song. Such cool sound, with same speed as usual but absolutely different feel, not even close to Blues Traveler stuff. Really like this solo!

Great song. Nice solo

Popper is one of those guys that when he does play a good solo it truly is great.

I have never been a fan of Popper's playing, but sometimes he does something interesting with that speed. This is one of those times; his phrases following one another quite nicely, his execution is clean , his speed is actually dynamic in the best sense that this is a choice demonstration of theme and variation. Nice work. Much better than "Cats".

As far as I can hear, possible it's rare example of Popper's in aeolian 4th position (here's F# minor on A harmonica). Usually he prefers 1st or 2nd position major or 3-rd position minor.
