I would like to hear from those who have gone wireless.
What your using and how it's working for you. Pros and cons.

I have not gone wireless with harmonica, but what I will say is if you do - make sure to have a wired backup connection ready to be used. If you don't it will undoubtably bite you in the behind. From a sound man's perspective never trust wireless. When it works its great, but not nearly as reliable as wired.

I used one years ago, I was playing a small club and decided to walk off the bandstand and stroll around the room doing "Wang Dang Doodle" as I turned to make my second swing around the room for an instant my mind couldn't figure out where the people had gone. I then
quickly realized they had all formed a conga line behind me, so I walked them out the door across a street and thru a park and back all the while playing
though I could no longer hear the band. When I got back and we finished the tune my mates remarked that I
never lost signal or jumped the groove. It was fun for a while but as srussell stated they're unreliable, so now when I stroll the band takes the volume down on a slow blues and I give cheap harmonicas to a few pretty girls. I encourage them to play something and then I usually can resolve from what they play. When I can have an audience participate it always makes for an entertaining evening for all.
