Here's a song from my CD which features country-tuned harmonicas in F, and in F#. There are so many possibilities available with this tuning. The altered note (5 draw raised a half-step) sure came in handy over these chord progressions. (And check out the awesome horn players from New York Brass - www.newyorkbrass.com. They made the track come alive! I highly recommend them.)

I absolutely love your music. I have no doubt that you can do it on a SEYDEL or SUZUKI or even something I bang together out of iron I-beams and the other scrap in my garage. hohner is very lucky to have you as are we.

Great job Todd. I would love to hear you use a country tuned harp and play "Over the Rainbow" with the Ukulele or Hawaiian riff. ---------- And I Thank You !! KCz Backwoodz Bluz

CT harps are fun harps, not just for country music, but also to do ballads, doo wop tunes and jazz as well, and it sort of like turning 2nd position into first position. In 2nd position, you have a full V chord there and can do some cool double stops over the V chord as well, and when I was gigging with a band that not only did blues, but also some jazz and doo wop tunes, I could easily play all the vocal harmony parts on those harps. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Thanks again everyone, and yes, Bob, the country tuned harps are very useful. I have a friend who plays a lot of blues on CT harps in 3rd position major, and he makes good use of them.
