I like Blues Traveler, like Poppers singing, but I never understood the "blues" in their name. misleading. Good band though, I like this cut. BTW: I was big fan of the Moody Blues too. ???

Originally, they were a blues band named, The Blues Band. Popper was a huge Blues Brothers fan, hence the inspiration for Blues in the band name.

Traveler refers to Gozer the Traveler from Ghostbusters. So, basically, the name Blues Traveler came from combining John's two favorite movies.

Moody Blues started as a blues band too . Then changed to a more Prog rock thing after Denny Laine left and Hayward and lodge joined up

i cant believe I remember this stuff from when I was radio DJ ( we really had records then) in the early 80's

Still not a fan of Popper's harmonica playing, but this is song is excellent and the vocals are outstanding. Great tune. Thanks for posting.
