Billy has taken the 12 inch Scorpion out of his Peavey Special 130 amp (solid state). I noticed the difference immediately and asked him about it after the first set. Billy replaced it with a 12" Weber speaker. He said he wanted a bit more distortion, and he was still tinkering with his settings. Maybe this is an indication that he is starting to go back to a rougher sound and tone. Let's see.
