how many are aware that Robert was a proficient harp player before being a great bottleneck guitarist?johnny shines in an interview said after their guitars were burned up in a boarding house,as they hitch hiked on the road Robert pulled out a harp and stopped traffic....getting enough money in the hat to buy 2 new stella guitars and continue their trade in the next town

I heard Honey Boy Edwards say in passing, in an interview that Robert played harp before he got so good at playing guitar.
i loved hearing that.
This story is juicier.

I think its no mystery how Robert died.....poisoned whiskey at 3 forks juke joint....honeyboy and sonny boy 2 were there.....if he could have seen a doctor they could have tried an antidote.......
