Jim James and Raphael Callaghan were a blues duo from the Liverpool area back in the late 60s/early 70s. I saw them lots of times back then and thought that they were rather special with Jim's soulful singing and Raphael's wailing harp. Jim also wrote some great songs, and I was surprised that his compositions weren't covered by major blues artists. The link below is to a recording that the duo made around 1970. The song is a Jim James original. Jim, it appears, now lives in the States. Raphael has duo called " Blue C" and still performs mainly in North Wales and the north of England.
