Exceptional stuff. Jason has a heck of a strong groove. I don't know who Michael Ledbetter is, but he's definitely on my screen now! Thanks.

Sounds great. Jason's playing is exemplary as always. Really nice to hear Jim Liban sitting in too. Thanks for posting these here Joe.

This gig was so fun! That was a little 15 watt Guild amp straight in with one of Greg's 57's sounded better in this vid than it did on stage so nice to finally hear it now! Such a pleasure playing with guys like Nick and Michael playing "traditional" and in the groove is almost effortless with guys like this if you have any real love of that music! Meow and Thanks for the posts everyone!-J

BTW Adam: Michael Ledbetter is Nick's, 2nd guitar and vocalist for the N.M.B. incidentally he recorded vocals last weekend for Ronnie Earl's new record! Additionally he is the Grand Son of the late Huddie William Ledbetter aka "Leadbelly". Thought you might dig that fact Sir...

With modern blues, its always the vocals that wind up lacking. Not the case here at all.

With Ledbetter's vocals and Jason's harp, this sounds 100% like the real deal. I don't get out that much, but I'd venture as far as to say I've not heard more authentic blues played at any time in the last 10 years.
