I just bought an old ( 70's ) tape recorder mic just to see how well it might work for harp.
Could not be happier. Great breakup, little feedback, easy on the hands and light weight.
The drawbacks ( pun intended ) include a flimsy cable, and unable to take apart to fit volume control.
It's a Philips N8301 cardioide wide band dynamic, 500 Ohm.
But hey, for $20.00 who's complaining?
