We're going to start doing a version of "Big Chief" in the band I've been playing with. I want to mimic Fess' whistling part on harp. Any tips? Mainly I'm not sure whether to tackle it in straight or cross harp.

Jamming along to this in Eb, I´d say 1st pos: that region around holes 6--8 gave me the most convincing whistling sound on an Eb harp. (But I couldn´t repeat his glissandi -- and neither will you suspect. Those require whistling.)
