Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the CX-12 Jazz mouthpiece anywhere? I'd like to put one on my regular CX-12.

It's not just a mouthpiece, it's the whole outer shell and they are very pricey for a piece of plastic.

You can order the CX-12 Jazz housing through Rockin' Rons Music. It's nearly $190., just for the empty housing though.

Yeah that's why I stopped playing CX12's.
I was so psyched when I heard about the "Jazz" CX12 untill I found out it's price!
That is horse shit! It doesn't cost any more to make one cover than the other.
It's just ejection molded plastic. They have to pay for the mold to be made, but that's no different than the original design?

It looks to me like they take a regular CX-12 shell and mill away the material to make the CX-12 Jazz mouthpiece profile, in which case they are more expensive to make. Even if that's the case, I agree the price difference is outrageous.
