I got my 4x10 Fender Bassman '59 LTD today. Bought on internet (Thomann) and shipped from Germany and delivered to my door.
My biggest amp until today was a 15W Fender 5E3 12" clone. I am overwhelmed by the size and the sound.
I connected one of my favorites,an original Shure Green Bullet from the 80s to normal channel and set
Presence 3 Middle 3 Bass 6 Treble 5 Volume 3 (neighbors...)
Good bite and thick sound! Now I need to find a place where I could really blow.

Congratulations Håkan. The '59 Bassman LTD is a great amp for harp. Now we need to hear you playing through it of course :)

Sweet Hawk. Mine is a '95. I put a 5U4 rectifier tube in to lower the voltages thruout. It now runs at the same V's as an original Tweed Bassman. Also went with a 12AY7 in V1 as original. Killer tone from these amps! Rock on Brother and Merry Christmas...Goose

Thank you!
Barley: I also used a 5U4. Big as a light bulb (almost). Here I used 6L6. I tried 5881 at low volume at home but I wasn't really convinced. Preamps are AY AY AY.
