Our writing and arranging efforts will bear fruit today, We're transforming the living room into a recording studio, setting up with a drummer and bassist and sound engineer to get the new stuff on record.
We've been wanting to do this next cd for a couple of years now, but life does intrude. About 8 months ago we began a concerted effort to write all fresh material and begin to learn it together as a duo. Starting about 10 weeks ago we brought in a bassist and drummer to beef up the sound.
Jolene will play a hot rod Strat, a Western Auto Trutone, and a Regal parlor guitar. I will be playing Manjis, Hammond, a Big River or two, a customized D MB, maybe a Suzuki SCX chromatic. Recording onto 16 track 2 inch analog tape I think.
At this point we are as ready as we'll ever be and it's GO TIME!
Mix then master, then submit for copyright. Art work and liner notes, and we will then be ready to release. Should be in the first quarter of 2015.
That is where Jawbone and Jolene are at today!

Thank you guys. Good session, we got a lot done. Some redo's probably this coming week but the bulk is raw recorded.
