----------This is a blow to good music. Bobby Keys had the classiest rock and roll sax sound. You could feel the grit in his sharp phrases and the combination of joy and despair was palpable when he hit those high notes.

He added a lot to the Stones sound. Great energetic player

this news saddens me deeply. Bobby was a class act. He use to come to my gigs in Austin and encouraged me to keep on with Spontobeat. I often asked him to sit in but he said he preferred listening. I wish I could have gotten to know him better but in typical musicians lifestyles our trails didn't cross as much as wish they did. I hope he didn't suffer. Walter
