Yeah, Del and the boys are the real deal for sure.This tune was written by my old pal Mike Garris, who played bass with Del in the eighties, and now plays guitar with Chris Henry and Hard Core Grass.For another really bluesy Del tune, check out "I feel the blues movin' in".-Greg

In 1992 I was at a bluegrass festival in CT. I met Del after his afternoon set as he was walking through the campground back to his trailer. We chatted a bit. That night he called me up on stage and we did this other tune mentioned here ...Foggy Mountain Special! I was really winging it with this crew. They won multiple Grammys that year. I faked my way through with a lot of liquid courage. Incredible experience. I have the audio in a file transferred from a cassette. No idea how to post it here.
