...how many are still around? Or have been built.

The same with the Harpking, Mission, Memphis Mini etc....all the new Boutique Amps.
I`m just curious, that`s all. Maybe someone knows a little bit more about it.

Greetings

Not sure, but I owned Meteor amp #53 for awhile...I guess that means there were at least 53 of them.

OK, so there are about #53. I know one who has number #14 - not so many around, I think. Maybe 100, but not more.

Nobody will know this but the owners of those respective companies, and they probably won't be comfortable telling you. But that doesn't mean you can't ask them.

I have Memphis Mini amp # 0119, purchased in July. Rick seems to still be selling a lot of them. A few days ago on his FB page he said he had amps in five continents.

I bought # 40 from Scott dated 4/1/06 and as Peter G,s it has the brown tweed .At that time the price was $1550. plus $50 shipping. Its my go to amp for medium and larger rooms.I showed it to an amp builder a few yrs ago and he thought that it was a hell of a bargain for the price after checking out all of the components that made up the amp.I often wonder if thats why Scott stopped building them because of the profit margin vs the labor and material that he put into them.I do know that he did raise the price by a couple of hundred yet still not enough to make it worth while to him.I will never regret buying it,I will say that, and love the tone that I get out of it.@Rhartt thats great that you got one of the black tolex models as I know when I bought mine he wasn,t covering them in b. tolex .What # is yours if you don,t mind me asking?
