This is a surprizingly good harp amp. Wonderful tone, very responsive to technique, and cuts through loud guitars if you need to. Dirtier than a Super Reverb, and very nice depth of tone. The amp is voiced somewhat bright, so you have to spend some time experimenting with the settings on the tone controls. But once you have it dialed in it sounds great. I swapped out the preamp tubes for this configuration: ECC81(12AT7) ECC832(12DW7) ECC81. It came with JJs and I used JJs for the swaps. I'm very happy with this amp. 30 watts. It's perfect for gigs where my Super Reverb Reissue is too much amp and my Princeton Reverb Reissue is outgunned. Very nice medium size tube amp for harp.
