Digitech has come out with a pedal called the LUXE that is based on the detune feature of the Whammy but is stand alone and true bypass, it's a harp friendly pedal that sounds particularly good thru a dirty amp.
Another harp friendly pedal is the Vortex Flanger by TC Electronic. Very versatile and capable of making variety of cool sounds. True bypass and plays nicely in combination with other effects. Can cause feedback with an overdriven amp but is very controlable if you are not running through a high gain rig. Responds nicely to playing tecnique. Very adjustable and extremely well made
