when I was in Clarksdale april 2013,deak harp was in a jam in front of his shop Mississippi saxophone.....as he was playing he walked down the street, completely out of sight, just blazing away with his wireless mic.........where do you find these mics and what recommendations can you give?

I've been using a Samsung AirLine Guitar AF1 with succes. It's a 12v pedal, and it uses an AAA battery.

(The wireless end has an on/off switch where i put some tape over it, so it won't just accidently stop functioning)

Deke bought his wireless system from me: BlowsMeAway Productions. . His rack mic setup is home brew, but I supplied the element cabled to a short cable and jack so he can plug into wireless transmitter or cable. He also uses one of my wood bullets when he isn't doing the one-man-band thing.

I've played 50+ gigs with one of Greg's wireless systems. Love it!
