Sorry... I have nothing to offer here myself. I'm just looking for inspiration.

It has been noted time and time again that Beatle's songs are always crowd favorites. Even (especially?) with international audiences. But I don't think I've heard any harmonica covers of Beatle's tunes that I've found to be particularly inspiring. Does anyone have any good examples of someone (themselves perhaps…) really knocking one out of the park?

im sure Christelle would have some. she does a great 'yesterday' iirc
i play yesterday to tune up my 3 draw single and double bends and 2 draw double.
eleanor rigby needs a 5 overblow for the 'ah, look at all the lonely people' passage. i play it on a raised 5 draw harp; another good tune up piece for your draw bends, inc the sometimes neglected 4 draw
i dont play them much in public, but yesterday would be ok i guess...the real challenge is to improvise asolo to go with the melody

Technically it's a Larry Williams cover, but well known by the Beatles...

Ya know, I never knew that The Beatles did Slow Down… and I call myself a Beatles fan. Shame on me. Gotta say I like Butterfield's version better too. Thanks cyclopean.

We did a cover of Oh! Darlin' on our most recent CD. But, spoiler alert, there is NO harp here :-( We decided to give it a blues/soul touch and had Sax Gordon put on some great sax lines. We liked it so much, the pianist did a piano version as a reprise at the end of the CD.

I'm such a harp geek I read this thread title and thought "There was a Beatles Harmonica? I wonder what the covers looked like."

Area Code 615 covered this one too, not much harp but way cool when Charlie does play his bit.

Thanks guys! Admittedly, this is not what I was expecting, but there is some really great stuff here.

Right on slim! Charlie's part in Lady Madonna is so cool!
