This is a part of the Blues Classic album I did with Charlie Hilbert a half dozen years back, but I decided to give it away, at least until I change my mind and yank the video.
Wild Jimmy Spruill is playing straight fours on guitar and a singer named Grace Brimage (mother of saxophonist Jewel Brimage) is singing. I was blowing harp through a Shure PE5-H and an Ampeg Rocket that had, as I recall, a 15" speaker where the 12" speaker was supposed to be.
This was a good old-school blues session, although all but two of the players--Brimage and Spruill--were white kids.

My harp part is drawing pretty heavily on James Cotton's part on Muddy's version of the song. I can't remember which version I heard, but this one certainly shows what I loved about Cotton's playing, which is the raw power and deep rich tone combined with an occasional crazy edge. I was trying for that mix.
