I want to be Rick Estrin when I grow up.
There's two kinds of playing long. The first kind is when you play long, folks go for a pee break and come back before you are done.
The other kind is when folks hold it in 'till you are done.
He's most definitely the latter.

My wife thinks Rick Estrin is the bee's knees. When she's seen him live her appreciation extends to his singing, songwriting and overall very stylish performance. i can see all of that as well and adding in world class harp playing doesn't hurt at all. Rick and The Nightcats have a just released live CD out. Likely great.

And Rick is an EXCELLENT TEACHER...His DVD is very informative. He is teaching those 2 songs above at Jerry Portnoys learning site "Sonic Junction". My Wife hates Rick, sez he's cheezy, I tell her he is a great guy - she won't buy it :)

And the subtle ways he is maneuvering the notes and the tones and the time...Talk about mentoring from an ole Master - can you imagine the things he could teach a student, PRICELESS :)
