Mike was a great guitarist in the mid-90s when I saw him. He was 14 years old then. He's still great. And Sugar Ray Norcia's tone is still fine. His singing is better than good.

The one thing that Mike developed into that he clearly didn't have back then when I first saw him was good rhythm playing skills, and now he has excellent rhythm playing skills.
