On the radio I heard a version of Tramp by Johnny Nitro with some fantastic, compelling hi-energy harmonica. Doesn anyone happen to know who is playing that?
Unfortunately I can't find it to show you on YT. It sounds like a studio recording so must be on a CD somewhere. Amazon only has imports with no track listings.

Is this it?
Another search suggested Andy Just may be the player. ---------- Ridge's YouTube

Yes, that's it! Thanks both. Andy Just then, off to investigate.

The complete album is available on Grooveshark. There are some ethical issues regarding the use of Grooveshark that may have already been discussed but the only thing I'm clear on is it's legal to use. One can't download the material onto mobile devices but it is possible to listen on a computer or tablet connected to the internet. As I listen mostly offline I buy CD's whenever possible but puruse Grooveshark for hard to find stuff.

Pretty sure that's Andy doing the vocal as well as on this early version with the Ford blues band including Mark Ford. For a great example of two harps working together check out the whole CD "Here we go" Mark takes the solo on this version of Tramp. Listen to him build this baby up!

@HArp2Swing - GREAT cut of Mark - never heard that one before. Killer solo. I agree with you - that sounds like Andy singing. ---------- *************************************************** /Greg

About 20 years ago there was this late night show on that always started with and went to commercials with this insanely cool toned harmonica playing great modern licks and phrasings. Once I heard Marks music - it had to be his playing they were using on that show - he really has his own thing goin on :)
And Andy is a FIERCE player - that's the best way I can describe what I hear him do :)
