I know there are some great country players on this list.
Every blues player is gonna have to play country or folk
type tune once in awhile.

Thanks DB , ya man ..you've brought back some memories .. here's a few from my country swing band , Iron Mule - late 80's...
Somehow our bass player Mick saved some tunes from the one and only master we made ..
We had allot of fun .. and heartache in those daze .. lot's of tunes got lyrics changed to more suggestive meanings, though not many folks caught it ; )

Thanx man , that band hit the end of our rocky road in 1991 when I moved overseas for work , and the chance to engage sport fishing at a world class level ...
Our front man and band leader Neil Gholson was one of those folks who had well over 6-700 tunes in his bag of tricks .. could orchestrate , play any instrument on our bandstand , stack harmonies , put allot of funny into the lyrics ... a very gifted musician and a long time close friend, but, not a happy person in life .. like many who are so gifted, booze , dope , bad attitude = ruined opportunities .....
