Hi,

A question for the guys how like to work on harps.

Did you flat sand the draw reed plates on the Sp20?

I know that you need to have two flat surface in contact to get a good seal, but since I cant flat sand the plastic comb, it is still an improvement, or not?

thxs!!

Yes. But some folks will not notice the difference. That could be because the comb or the blow plate are not straight and the improvement to the draw plate doesn't have that much effect compared to how bad the other side is. Also, if you are not a finesse player but tend to play harder, the difference may not be obvious to you.

Either way, whether you appreciate the difference or not, there is no harm in doing it.
