I am wondering if there is a one stop shop for BTs. I have had no luck finding what I want after an extensive search. Maybe I am being too picky. It's so much easier to find common ground in real life.
I am considering software but one look at Band-In-The Box and I felt I was sitting at Beethoven's workbench. I would like to be able to choose the key and the speed on bass and maybe light percussion. Strictly blues.
I can do without percussion and key choice if I have to.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I muddied the waters by mentioning my desire for a custom track.
On another thread @Frank mentioned acquiring a LW track for a certain song. I was wondering if there was one good source or if each track requires a custom search.
Many of my general searches for 'blues harmonica backing tracks' bring me to places that have collections with 1 or 2 blues songs or tracks and video with harmonica already on them.
The custom job is for laying out an original song and that can wait.
BTW, I was listening to LWs 3 CD collection (Rare, ...) yesterday and one song came across as the template for Blue Suede Shoes. I couldn't help but overlay the 'Ten Years After' short version in my mind. His influence continues to amaze me.

I've bought BT's. I've found free BT's. I've copied BT's from YouTube. I've edited BT'S to make them shorter and I've changed the key on some and played with the tempo on others. It's all available on the web just so long as you are resourceful and slightly geeky.

If you have a bit client I would search for "Lawrence fritts .torrent" 80 or so free tracks with nice quality. If you get the whole package as a torrent from thepiratebay or other torrentsearchprovider you'll get the tracks that are correctly named and so on. If you search google only you may get incomplete, badly named tracks, some of which will try to make you pay for them...
Shoblues has a great collection specially for harp and his site is really easy to search. Not for free but worth every penny. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

"Sittin in with the Greats", "Jimi Lee's Every Grove a Bluesman Needs to Know" and the three CDs in the "Ultimate Blues Jams" series.
None of these are free but they are the best!

Guitar Center has some really good free ones from competitions they used to run. Go to their website and look around-they are there somewhere.
I have accumulated a lot of BT's without really trying. Frank has posted a number of them here from time to time. There's tons on youtube, most of them lead you to sites where you can buy them, but a lot of free stuff too.

Thank you again, one and all. These are exactly what I've been looking for. Harp community-speak is a new language for me and I still have some gaping voids. I added 'jam track' to my vocabulary today.
