I'm sharing with you this little video I made last night. Just a bedroom recording, made just for fun. I hope you like it.

I'll appreciate any criticism, review, trolling and/or comment :D

My honest opinion is that it was really good but would have sounded better without the backing track. I also think you used the harmonica sound modulation tools (wah with your hands and vibrato with your lungs)too much and/or in the wrong places. All and all a very nice sounding track and I'd like to hear you do it without the backing because I believe it would sound great on it's own.

I agree with the comments about using the hands. Think about a singer singing the song - would he go wawawawawawa on a note?

You ca use hand shaping of a note artistically, but it needs to be done subtly and in service to the song.

I like how you're using splits, especially in the bit just before the main theme comes back, like around 1:31.

Starting about 1:21 you preface the Draw 7 with a Blow 7, and the blow 7 sounds wrong. It's not in the original. You need to be playing:

3D 5B 6B 7D 6D

instead of

3D 5B 6B 7B 7D 6D

You need to work on the accuracy and tonal quality of your Draw 3 two-semitone bend. It's really exposed when you use it to play a melody note. This is a tough bend to play accurately, and it's usually a bit low when you play it. Breathe gently from deep in you diaphragm; this help give you more tone and also more influence over bent notes.

Look out for playing Draw 6 and Draw 7 at the same time, which you do at 2:49 - it's discordant.

If you can adjust the recording volume so you're higher in the mix than the backing track that would help. Cultivate fullness of tone (which is not the same thing as playing loudly) so that you're riding on top of the mix instead of being buried in it.

Wow, sorry guys! The other day I posted a long answer to all your comments and the crappy internet of my university f*cked it up.

@Steamrollin Stan: thanks man! Actually I look younger than my age, being 22 some people have asked me if I'm on high school LOL.

@rockmonkeyguitar & @WinsloyYerxa yeah, thanks for that. I was needing some feedback, and I appreciate your comments. I've been working on my modulations and dynamics, just to sound more "musical". There's still a lot to work, so I thank you for mentioning it. By the way: some parts sound too plain because I put a little compression on the mix.

@Frank: thanks man. But I must say, you are the big man here. If somebody's got to release a fan button, that's you. I'll work on your request :D

I share with you my last video. It's a popular chilean song, made for the 1962's football world cup. It's been strongly played this days.
