He does do some of his own. However, it says plainly in the comments of the video that he is playing OOTB Seydel 1847.
Also, I've had a private lesson with Fred Yonnet and he showed me his advanced "Customizing" technique. It took a couple minutes but he scrambled around the house and found a paperclip that he used adjust the blow draw notes...
I think - for some - it is a hard pill to accept that there are harmonica players out there who play well with minimum customization and that there are harp players out there performing in front of huge audiences making money.

Yes that's precisely what I heard from one of the guys at Seydel.
I don't know if the definition of customising has ever been broached here (I'd imagine it has), but I'm happy to walk back my comment. I'd say to even get near to using the word 'custom', you need to be physically adding or more commonly, removing metal for any work to fall into that category.
As far as Fred goes. I think he's awesome. Certainly the finest (if not the only) funk and R&B harp player I've ever heard.
