Well after an interesting debate on my last thread about backing tracks which I learned a lot and still am , and seeing the positives and negatives for backing tracks I had a quick go this morning before work to Walter trout song recovery while other songs on album have harp dosent itsca slow song and I just listened to it first then I just started adding a little lick at end of lines in verses and then little bits here and there the first lick was just draw 3 bend sustained a bit then shirt draw on.two etc was pleased with how it fitted in I listened to the harp on bottom of the river , that harp sound how do you get it can someone have a listen and tell me lol I'm guessing bends on 2nd position hand cupping etc

mac1012,

I have XM radio and one thing I used to do when I was a beginner is play the blues channel (Bluesville) with my box of harps in front of me. The idea was to figure out the key and find something to play along with the song that worked. The challenge was that there was no rewind and you only got one shot at the song. Plus they played a wide variety of music, some easy to jam on harp, others not so easy. It was fun, educational, and frustrating at times!
