Valves...I heard a pretty good player working with the valves and sounding kinda sick. A month later he is sounding great. This guy has no probs with overblows, but has demonstrated how the valves enable him to do some things slicker.
Personally, I'm working on using a CT harp to play changes in a I VI ii V progression. It's very cool, especially using 5th pos for the VI chord and having two easy octaves available...and the 3rd pos V chord of course...and the easy major 7 in the tonic. Another way to help focus my mind map. Now if I can just get that 6 OB a bit slicker...
