I want to hear some of my fellow harp players opinions on Howard Levy's Tonight and Tomorrow album. If you haven't listened to it, go to Spotify. Persoanlly, I absolutely love it and would call it one of the best pure Jazz harmonica albums of all time. The only thing it is missing is another wind instrument, seeing as it is the only instruments used seem to be an upright bass, drums, a piano, and a harmonica. I would've had a trumpete player or a sax player or both on the album just to give it a less thin sound. However, that doesn't eliminate it's genius and beauty. What do you guys think?

I always enjoyed Howard's piano playing to his harmonica playing from a musical/jazz perspective.
What he does on harmonica is trail blazing, etc, buy I don't enjoy it as much as trumpet or sax...I think it is the tone on the harmonica vs other instruments.
Not to say that the harmonica isn't mind blowing... ---------- The Iceman
