Watched it twice. Wow!
They all sorta sound the same except for Corky Siegel and Joe Filisko. I mean overall tone and the licks they are playing.
Is Corky Siegel's amp just louder or is there more to it than that?
Filisko's playing a low harp and his harp/mic/amp combo really cuts through. Who says low harps can't cut the mustard?
Lol! Filisko snaps a selfie at 7:35. Awesome!

I was talking to Joe between sets, and commented on the low Thunderbird. He said he likes playing them, but there's not much you can do with them. His words, not mine. I think he sounds great with them. On his opening number he played a low A like a tuba.

Trainwreck? Really?
It's so hard for two harp players to play on the same song and sound good, let alone six! And even when someone steps a little on someone else's toe here, it's not even all that awkward, they just move on and keep groovin'.

I cringe a bit during these "mandatory" finales in which a gaggle of harmonicas take to the stage. Most of the time it sounds awkward and ragged, but lotsa attendees at these gatherings seem to like them. ---------- The Iceman

I'm hoping you had to be there to 'get it ' as it did nothing for me. Except perhaps Joe Filisko on the Low A.

At least a little bit of a trainwreck. Billy Boy stepped all over Filisko's solo. Joe caught it and graciously stepped back. It seemed everybody stepped on Hummell's solo.
Gipsy- Song is in G. I think Filisko is playing a low C.

@Tuckster. Thanks for that, I picked up the Low A reference from one of the previous posts. I still think it was the best part of the performance.
