“Jimbo” has developed a “good name” in the entertainment community in Jacksonville, Daytona, Gainesville, Cedar Key, St. Augustine, Brunswick, Fernandina, and Ocala.

Performing for local music festivals or the Florida Theater, The Jim Essery Band has performed at all venues throughout the last 30 years. Restaurants, pubs, sport bars and listening rooms have accepted Jimbo and his bands knowing that they would receive more than the ordinary local band could offer. Currently, Jimbo has five self-titled CDs available, and can be heard on five of the Allman Brothers CD’s.

Jim’s current project: The Jim Essery Band is an electric-acoustic band. Jim sings, tells stories and performs with his guitar and harmonicas. The band members are seasoned professionals and have national associations in the music industry.
