I like that! Good low harp playing with a nice groove to it. OGB, one girl band. Thanks for posting!

How nice to see a girl/lady on the harp -- and I do NOT mean that in a sexist way. Just that there appears to be so few of you.
Good stuff here in the trance blues genre!
Is it a foot drum or a drum track?

The percussion is a porch board bass.

Thanks for posting that,it made my day! The low harp really helps create the brooding groove. Cool tune! Puts me in mind of one of my favourites: "Drink the Water" by Justin Cross.

cat - hey, hey - your treading on triple threat territory, good go at it - thats a lot of balls to juggle, singin, guitar and harp on an original tune - thanks for sharing your progress. BTW - can you post the lyrics?

Solid! A palpable hit! Good mastery of the low register tone; something in your phrasing on harmonica reminds me of Al Wilson, late of Canned Heat. ---------- Ted Burke http://www.youtube.com/user/TheoBurke?feature=mhee

Nicely done!
And that someone's awesomeness is inspired by Deak Harp gives me a warm fuzzy. He's a unique and powerful bluesman. Give'r!
P.S. Is that a HarpLock? If so, they should put that video up on their website! ----------

Very hypnotic groove and I really like the fact that being a woman the juxtaposition between the pitch of your voice and the low tuned harp, adds to the song immensely and creates an overall haunting quality to the groove. Very nice work indeed. You should definitely be proud of this one Catriona.

Thanks! Andy, it is, I'm a big fan of the harp lock! Hey, I got to try some harmonicas with your combs in them recently that Sherwin had, was really impressed!
Theo - woah!
Frank, here are the lyrics:
When you've been through the Heaviest Weather Things that undo you Can't put you back together But the pain hides the itch And the itch hides the pain Till you scratch and you're back where you started again
When you've been through the Darkest of nights All those things whispering to you saying You'll be all right, all right with Just one more bite, one more sip, one more kiss Yeah, you throw it away for just one more hit
It's in the mail, please don't open that letter Things might get worse, don't know if they'll get better So pick your poison and fill your cup 'Cos it's less terrifying than opening up
