This may not be of much interest to most of you here, but I wanted to highly recommend the work of Danny Flam and the guys and New York Brass. Here's a link to their site: New York Brass
Danny and his players added a horn section on one of my songs for my CD project, and it is absolutely phenomenal! I didn't have to do any editing and lining up, all the horns are tight and right on beat, and they sound absolutely amazing - sounds like they used really great mics and preamps. The price was very reasonable as well. I sent Danny the keyboard brass part I'd originally played, and he came up with an arrangement that was 1000 times better than anything I could have created.
So, if you ever need a horn section, contact New York Brass! Once I get a copy of the tune mixed, I'll share it here. The entire album is being mixed at this point... stay tuned!

I have heard of the Canadian Brass, American Brass, Empire Brass, St. Louis Brass but not New York Brass.
As I trombone player I had to click on the Bach Fugue in G for trombones, quite impressive.
They have a very interesting concept. It makes me wish I was in a position to be able to use them.
