Ah, nice to hear Jim's 4 Over 3 Rhythm Riff riff in there!

Thank you for posting these. Do you have means to record other than iPhone?

OK, just thinking maybe recording on the phone isn't doing it justice. A mic into the computer + audacity is a good combination. There can be level-matching issues though. Worth a try though.

Playing tips? Not from me :-) should be the other way round I think. Glad to hear you are getting to play out so much, you'll be streaking ahead I think.

I feel sometimes I'm TOO repetitive, but maybe I'm over thinking things.
I have an irig, but not sure that will allow the MIC on audacity.
might need to invest in better recording gear, I'm just not computer savvy, this is the first post I realized I could embed video haha.

Since you can clearly play, technically, and I expect you can add new techniques too, the question is *what* to play. I can only pass on the good advice in Mirco's thread about 'Backing Tracks for Fills' - which is total body immersion in records and live music, copying what they do. Subtleties like 'how repetitive is too repetitive' may be answered that way? Seems like it to me.

Edit: Personally, I don't think you can over-think things. But I know that some other people don't like that. I can believe for some it people it gets in the way. Personal style.
